Blog Entry #3

I was stunned by the entries of the Southern California Gingerbread Challenge. My two favorite structures are the Casita from Encanto, and the Once-ler's house from the Lorax. For the encanto gingerbread house, I especially enjoyed the pink sprinkle decorations on the edges, and the palm tree. My true favorite was the lorax house, as I adore the movie. The creative trees are super cool, as is the lorax figure. If I were on the comittee, I would build the Taylor Swift folklore house from her Eras Tour (photo attatched). I would use icing to create the moss look on the roof, and golden chocolate orbs to mimic the lights. As for taylor, I would decorate a gingerbread woman to be wearing a pink dress, like the one she wears. I don't think the structure would be very stable, but it would be cool and definetely creative.
